The Nar Valley Way is easily accessible from our site. It actually stretches from Kings Lynn (TF616198 ) in the west to Gressenhall (TF975169) in the east. The walk east to west is approximately 35 miles in total.
The route is well marked with named signposts and white named disks and is contained almost entirely within the watershed of the River Nar, visiting many attractive villages and historical sites. The walk also links with the Peddars Way at Castle Acre. An extension from Gressenhall into East Dereham has now also been included.
The walk is generally divided into 4 sections. The first section starting at Kings Lynn. Section 2 of the Nar Valley Way (Blackborough End to West Acre) lies about half a mile due south of the cottages.
